United Architects gained a name
for itself in the WTC competition. They are comprised of Greg

07.04.03 Somehow a year has
passed since Murcutt won the Pritzker Prize. This year it's
Jorn Utzon's turn. AGE
PRITZKER (tip:KH)
07.04.03 Frank Gehry was a Pritzker
Juror this year and had this to say about the winner. "Utzon
made a building well ahead of its time, far ahead of available
technology, and he persevered through extraordinary malicious
publicity and negative criticism to build a building that
changed the image of an entire country." PRITZKER

Frank Lloyd Wright went to Baghdad
at the age of 93 to design an opera house. WASHPOST
(via fimoculous)

Really good architects had better make their building souvenir-proof
from now on: "Believe it or not, if people know this is
a brick or a nail or a tile from a famous Frank Lloyd Wright
house, there is a market for it. A big market for it" SOURCE.
